Cabarrus Records Contacts

Cabarrus County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible public office directly.

Custody and Records Contacts

Choose the office that created the record or controls the custody being checked. Sheriff Detention Services handles jail-operation routing, while Civil and Records is the local path for an existing booking or release record. The Clerk maintains court files, not the Sheriff's physical release log. State prison, supervision, notification, federal, and immigration questions each have separate official channels.

NCDAC Combined Records

Call during normal working hours for state prison release-policy routing. District 19A management is at 600 South Main Street, Landis, NC 28088, 704-855-3883. That office covers Cabarrus and Rowan but is not a public reporting site or schedule for a specific supervisee.

Notification and Federal Locators

NC SAVAN/VINELink: 1-877-627-2826
ICE Services Line: 1-888-351-4024

BOP Inmate Locator: bop.gov/inmateloc
ICE Detainee Locator: locator.ice.gov/odls

NC SAVAN offers twenty-four-hour automated and operator help. BOP covers federal custody from 1982 forward. ICE ODLS is mainly a current-detention locator, and USMS has no comparable public historical release locator.

Use the route that matches the question:

  • For a named released person or local release record, the home page gives the full P2C, Sheriff-record, court, and next-custodian sequence.
  • For state community status, use Parole & Probation and then contact District 19A only for public routing.
  • For same-day jail-release research, use the 24-Hour Release List fallback because Cabarrus publishes no verified rolling feed.
  • For a prison date or alert, use Projected Release Date and the VINELink Check.
  • For one facility, use its page in the footer and respect the separate confidentiality rules for juvenile facilities.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use NCDAC Offender Search or its county/month Inmate Release Search, not Cabarrus P2C.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use BOP or ICE only when the underlying record points to that custodian.
